Kids Way Spring Concert, PreK Graduation, and Donuts with Dad!
PreK Graduation is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 9:00 am. It is held at Highland Elementary School’s cafeteria. The entire school will sing, followed by PreK Graduation and Donuts with Dad!

Summer Camp for Children, Kindergarten thru 5th Grade
Kids Way School Age Program at Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School is offering a Summer Day Camp throughout the summer for ALL Lake Stevens children, Kindergarten through 5th grade. The hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 am -6:00 pm. Pricing is between $50-$65 per day for up to 10 hours of camp. If you know a family who needs care for their school-age child, please send them our way!
Fall Registration is OPEN
Fall Registration is open at both the preschool and school-age program located at Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School. We have availability in all of our programs, but expect to be full by fall. We offer a refer-a-friend program. Families can receive up to a $500 tuition rebate when they refer a new family to Kids Way. I sent families a Lillio message with more information.

Kids Way School-Age, K thru 5th Grade May 2025 Newsletter
Well, according to the calendar, spring has arrived! Our nighttime temperatures are still dipping into the 40’s, and we have seen some daytime temperatures in the high 40’s, which definitely leaves room for improvement. Those days in the high 60’s sure felt nice!
The kids were sure it was time to set up pools and sprinklers.
The last day of school is Friday, June 20th, school is out 2 ½ hours early. June 19th is a non-school day, we are CLOSED, in observance of Juneteenth.
Summer Camp!
Summer camp will start on Monday, June 23rd. If you have not yet enrolled and need summer care, now is the time to get your paperwork turned in. We still have very limited availability; 4 full time spots and 5 Tues/Thurs spots … MWF is full, so if you or someone you know needs care, we gladly welcome new students. We close enrollment at only 26 campers.
We will have an adventure-packed summer; many field trips, activities, and adventures, along with new friendships and memories being made! Our summer hours will be 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. If you have any questions regarding the summer program, please be sure to ask. As we enter into full-day care, remember a day consists of NO MORE THAN 10 HOURS, per DCYF regulations. If you need more than 10 hours, you will need to fill out a waiver to have on file, as well as pay additional fees.
Fall enrollment packets are now available.
You can pick one up from the parent table or download one from the website. Fall enrollment is filling up quickly!
The program will be CLOSED Monday May 26th in observance of Memorial Day.
As the sun is starting to make a more frequent appearance, please be sure your child has sunscreen in his/her back pack. You signed the permission form with your enrollment packet. Please be sure it is something your child can apply with little or no assistance. Licensing does not allow aerosol sunscreen, it must be a lotion, stick, or pump application.

Hopefully, the month of May will be filled with warmer days, beautiful flowers, and happy children.
